Backend Team Lead

As a Team Lead you will be responsible for leading a small dedicated team of web developers in the design development and maintenance of our core applications. Youll be a hands-on leader spending a significant portion of your time coding while also mentoring your team fostering a culture of technical excellence and driving project success.
Lead mentor and manage a team of 5 software engineers.
Serve as the primary technical point of contact for the team and stakeholders.
Architect develop and maintain high-performance scalable web applications using PHP Laravel and .
Co-design and consume RESTful APIs provided by the Backend team for seamless data integration.
Oversee code quality conduct code reviews and implement a comprehensive testing strategy.
Manage the software development lifecycle using Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
Oversee project tracking and maintain comprehensive documentation to ensure efficient team workflows.
Proven experience as a Team Lead in a PHP/Laravel/ environment.
Expertise in building Single-Page Applications (SPAs) with a modern JavaScript framework preferably .
Solid understanding of RESTful API design and principles.
Experience with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Fluent in English both written and oral; French is a plus.
Experience with remote or hybrid team management.
