Vacancy: Application Administrator – Microservices (Ghent)
We are looking for a hands-on Application Administrator (Microservices) who will be responsible for a suite of applications within a distributed microservices architecture.
You will combine technical application management with active support in implementations built in .NET and Quarkus (Apache Camel). As a key member of the team, you will ensure the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of the operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain a range of applications within a microservices-based ecosystem
Provide 3rd-line application support, troubleshooting, and incident/problem management
Support development and deployment activities in .NET and Quarkus environments
Monitor performance, optimize configurations, and propose improvements for operational efficiency
Collaborate with developers, system engineers, and business stakeholders
Requirements
R equired Skills & Experience
Competency
Proven experience with SOA or Microservices architecture
Proven experience in troubleshooting, incident/problem management, and 3rd-line application support
Proven experience with the relevant technology stack or similar
Proven development experience in Java / .NET
Proficiency in Dutch (CEFR C2 level)
Nice to Have (Assets)
Competency
Experience with ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
Experience with JIRA / Confluence or Azure DevOps
Experience with Kubernetes (OpenShift)
Experience with SQL Server DBA tasks
Higher education (Bachelor or Master) in a technical/engineering field or equivalent experience in relevant ICT technologies
