For our client in the energy sector, we are looking for a Solution Architect to join the IT Architecture department and support major transformation initiatives across Belgium and Germany.
At Yuma, we believe technology only matters when it makes a real difference for people. In this role, you will contribute to optimizing and modernizing the IT infrastructure and application landscape of one of Europe's leading transmission system operators.
You will play a key role in aligning business needs, architectural governance, and delivery teams to ensure coherent and future-proof solutions
- Design and adapt technical solutions that modernize the application landscape
- Provide expertise in integration design, application architecture, and available tooling
- Act as the key link between the Product Organization, Architecture teams, and Delivery teams
- Contribute to governance processes (Design Boards) and support decision-making using techniques such as ADR and ATAM
- You are an experienced Solution Architect with a strong technical background and the ability to translate business needs into robust, scalable architectural solutions. At least 6 years of relevant experience as a Solution Architect
- Strong experience applying IT standards and methodologies such as TOGAF, ArchiMate, ATAM, and CBAM
- Familiarity with architecture modeling languages such as ArchiMate (experience with Sparx Enterprise Architect is a strong plus)
- Solid understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
- Fluent English and German (mandatory – documentation and external meetings are conducted in these languages)
- Knowledge of French and/or Dutch is a plus
You will work on complex digital challenges in teams where collaboration and curiosity are key.
