Head of Environment, Health and Safety
You will define, lead, and implement the company’s global Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and alignment with corporate sustainability objectives. You will foster a strong culture of safety, environmental stewardship, business resilience, and accountability across all business units worldwide.
The position requires close collaboration with senior executives, functional leaders, and regional/site EHS teams to deliver measurable improvements in safety, environmental impact, and business continuity readiness.
Provide leadership, guidance, and oversight to regional and site-level EHS teams, ensuring consistent standards and practices.
- Ensure compliance with international, national, and local regulations, certifications, and industry best practices (e.g., Drive continuous improvement in EHS performance through data-driven analysis, audits, benchmarking, and the deployment of innovative practices and technologies.
- Develop and monitor KPIs to track EHS performance, providing transparent reporting and actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Design and deliver comprehensive training programs to build awareness and competence in EHS practices.
- Play a key role in the company’s Business Continuity and Crisis Management framework, ensuring that EHS-related risks are integrated into continuity planning and emergency preparedness.
Extensive experience (10+ years) in senior EHS leadership roles within multinational companies or complex industrial environments.
- Experience contributing to Business Continuity Planning and Crisis Management, with the ability to integrate EHS risk considerations into enterprise-wide frameworks.
- Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
- Skilled in change management, organizational development, and fostering a proactive safety-first culture.
