Senior IT & Security Manager

We’re making security suck less for developers.

Security tools haven’t kept up with how software is built today. They interrupt teams, slow releases, and turn security into a bottleneck instead of a capability. We built Aikido to change that. Aikido builds developer-first security products that reduce real risk without getting in the way of shipping software. We focus on what actually matters and automate the rest.

We’re taking on legacy security tools teams have been stuck with, and we’re winning. If you want to help us take market share and build products developers actually enjoy using, you’re in the right place.

Founded in 2022 by third-time founders, Aikido has $85M in the bank and a long runway ahead. We’re building toward self-securing software. Join an all-star team. Take real ownership. Push boundaries. Build things that matter.

We’re looking for a hands on Senior IT & Security professional to own and scale Aikido’s global internal IT environment and roadmap. You’ll own the internal IT roadmap and day-to-day operations across identity, devices, offices, and tooling. You’ll also make sure our IT setup meets our security and compliance requirements.

• Own and drive the internal IT roadmap, priorities, architecture, and standards

• Own identity and access management, including SSO, SAML, onboarding, offboarding, and access governance

• Own endpoint management, MDM, device compliance, and the global hardware lifecycle

• Define and maintain standards for workplace technology, physical security, and internal tooling

• Own IT-related compliance controls, risk management, evidence collection, and audit readiness

• Identify gaps, evaluate solutions, and automate internal IT and compliance processes as Aikido scales

• 7+ years of experience in internal IT or IT operations, ideally in a SaaS company

• Strong hands-on experience with IAM, SSO, SAML, MDM, and endpoint management

• Experience owning internal IT across multiple offices and remote teams

• Good understanding of IT security, access control, and physical security

• Hands-on experience with ISO 27001, SOC 2, or similar frameworks

• Able to set direction, challenge existing approaches, and independently drive secure and scalable solutions

• Being well structured and organized

What you can expect

• Grow as fast as we do. Take on more, own more, and carve out your own path.

• Top-tier tech pay and equity.

• High trust, strong values, zero corporate BS.

• Flexibility in working hours.

• A company that sticks to its values in an open and informal atmosphere.

We hire for talent, drive, and potential. Everything else is noise.
