Medical Affairs and Evidence Generation Asset Lead -Executive Director
argenx
argenx seeks an Executive Director to lead medical affairs and evidence generation strategy for ARGX-121, a novel IgA-targeted therapeutic. This strategic role involves guiding clinical development, lifecycle management, and commercialization across global teams while building and managing a growing MA&EG organization.
Responsibilities
- Serve as MA&EG lead on ARGX-121 Asset Strategy Team providing strategic guidance and indication identification
- Execute lifecycle deliverables from development through commercialization including clinical trial input and study troubleshooting
- Develop and execute Integrated Evidence Generation Plans throughout product lifecycle
- Lead MA&EG community strategy via publications, advisory boards, medical information, and congress activities
- Hire, manage, and develop indication leads as the molecule progresses; contribute to MA&EG leadership evolution
Requirements
- Deep expertise in complex disease areas, treatment landscapes, and clinical development planning
- Proven ability to interpret medical literature and develop effective medical affairs strategies
- Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to influence diverse stakeholders
- Experience leading teams in matrixed, fast-moving environments with competing priorities
- Demonstrated cross-functional collaboration and co-creation capabilities across geographies
- Track record of delivering results that meet or exceed targeted objectives
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulation and compliance standards
