They manage a large-scale IT environment supporting multiple subsidiaries. Their mission is to ensure reliable, secure, and high-performance infrastructure that enables seamless global logistics operations.
Senior System Engineer - Tasks and Responsibilities- Lead and actively contribute to data center migration projects across European infrastructure
- Ensure smooth transition of systems, applications, and services with minimal business disruption
- Manage and maintain IT infrastructure (servers, networks, firewalls) during migration phases
- Coordinate technical activities with internal teams and external providers
- Monitor system performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation actions
- Ensure security, backup, and disaster recovery readiness throughout migration processes
Jouw profiel
Senior System Engineer - The Perfect Match- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer or similar role
- Strong expertise in Microsoft system administration ( Windows Server ) and Linux environments
- Solid experience with virtualization technologies (VMware certification is a plus)
- Good knowledge of core infrastructure services (DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, etc.)
- Experience with network infrastructure (Cisco switches/routers, TCP/IP, VLANs)
- Knowledge of firewall configuration (Palo Alto is a plus)
- Experience with monitoring tools and backup solutions (Veeam is a plus)
- Proven ability to work in international environments
