INTERNSHIP - Cloud Developer / Automating Test Engineer (M/F/X)

Internship duration : minimum 3 months / maximum 1 year

If you like taking initiative, exploring new technologies, and contributing to meaningful industrial IoT projects, this internship will give you the space to grow, experiment, and make an impact.



About the internship:


You will join a cross-functional development team working on Ewon Cloud, a large-scale SaaS platform used worldwide.
Depending on your profile, you will contribute as a full-stack developer or as a test automation engineer .


You will collaborate with Product Owners, developers, testers, DevOps engineers, and managers to turn business needs into clear, actionable, and high-quality software.



YOUR MISSION


As part of the development team, you will contribute to ongoing projects and support the team in their daily activities.

Software Development (Developer Track)

• You work with Product Owners and developers to understand functional requirements.
• You translate user stories into working software components.
• You contribute to the implementation of UIs, APIs, cloud services, or platform features.
• You ensure compatibility and integration with existing platform components.

Testing & Quality (Automating Test Track)

• You develop unit tests and integration tests to ensure software quality.
• You contribute to debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues.
• You participate in code reviews and apply feedback from senior developers.
• You help maintain the reliability and stability of the platform.

Agile Team Collaboration

• You participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
• You collaborate with developers, testers, DevOps engineers, and Product Owners.
• You follow development workflows using tools such as GitLab, Jira, and Confluence.
• You contribute to team discussions and technical problem-solving.

SKILLS / METHOLOGY



Expected methodology:


You work using structured and professional methodologies such as Kanban and/or Scrum.



Skills you will develop:

• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience with agile product development in a SaaS environment.
• Practical skills in backlog management, requirement analysis, and user story writing.
• Exposure to real-world cloud technologies and industrial IoT use cases.
• Collaboration within an international and cross-functional team.
• Use of tools like Jira, Confluence, GitLab.

Technologies you may work with:

• Developer track: Java, Spring, Angular, TypeScript
• Tester track: Robot Framework, Python

YOUR PROFILE

• You are a student in Computer Science .
• You have an analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• You have an interest in SaaS, IoT, and digital product development.
• You have good communication skills in English (French is a plus).
