We are looking for a Business Development Intern to join our small and growing team in Brussels (BE ), for a minimum of 6 months, from February 2027.
We welcome applications from candidates eligible for internship scholarships or mobility programmes. Remuneration based on the obtained grant from the candidate (i.g Erasmus). CIP (Belgium) also possible. This is a transversal role supporting the growth of the studio, working directly with the founders and you will be in regular contact with clients, partners, schools, suppliers and other external stakeholders.
The role is particularly suited to someone who is 100% proactive, passionate about fashion and wants to bring their own knowledge and ideas, experiment, and actively contribute to shaping the development of a young, entrepreneurial company in the fashion industry. Your responsibilities Business Development & Strategy
- Support the definition and implementation of new growth strategies for the studio.
- Contribute to the preparation and update of business plans, market analyses and strategic presentations.
- Research new business opportunities, potential clients, partners and collaborations.
- Propose new ideas, projects and initiatives to develop the studio's activities and visibility.
- Support the preparation and monitoring of budgets, financial forecasts and planning documents. Stakeholder Relations
- Support the management of relationships with clients, partners, schools, institutions and other stakeholders.
- Take part in meetings and calls with external contacts, preparing materials and following up on open points.
- Help build and maintain contact databases and outreach pipelines.
- Manage and grow the studio's LinkedIn presence, including content planning, writing and publishing.
- Create presentations, decks and visual materials for clients, partners and internal use.
- Contribute to the consistency of Maïa's communication and brand image.
- Support the coordination of internal and external projects, from planning to execution.
- Keep track of timelines, deliverables and responsibilities across different initiatives.
- Organise and maintain project documentation and follow-ups.
- Support the day-to-day organisation of the studio and its administrative tasks.
- Help keep internal files, documents and tools organised and up to date.
- Contribute wherever needed to keep the studio running smoothly.
- You are a Master's student or a recent post-graduate in business, management, marketing.
- You have a genuine interest in fashion, creativity and the creative industries. A previous experience in the fashion industry is a plus.
- You are based in or around Brussels (or open to relocate) and comfortable working from the studio when needed on a weekly basis.
- You are proactive and at ease when talking with external contacts, from creative profiles to institutions and business partners and able to follow guidelines while being independent and entrepreneurial.
- You enjoy bringing ideas to the table, be curious and collaborating actively within a small team.
- You are comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel), LinkedIn and Canva/ PPT skills.
- You have a fluent knowledge of English, Italian speakers preferential. Why join Maïa? At Maïa, We are a team of young people.
