IT Data Functional Analyst

Join a B2B energy team to translate business requirements into robust data solutions for financial closing and reporting, ensuring data quality, auditability, and continuous process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and implementation designs for data processing workflows.
• Develop and modify SQL queries, Dataiku workflows, Python and PySpark recipes to support accurate data transformations and quality controls.
• Document, validate, and optimize business rules, calculation logic, allocation, pricing and reconciliation processes to maintain consistency and auditability.
• Define, implement and monitor data quality controls and reconciliation rules, and support audit readiness through traceability and documentation.
• Coordinate and perform functional testing activities, including defining test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and supporting user acceptance testing.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer while collaborating with stakeholders to clarify requirements and provide data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree
• At least 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role
• Experience in the energy sector
• Experience in financial closing or the financial sector
• Experience with Finance, energy supply, utilities, or data platforms
• Experience with data quality, controls, and reconciliation processes
