Industrial Cleaner / Production Operator

The Information specializes in the production of mushroom substrate made from horse manure and chicken manure. No animals or mushrooms are present on site. The substrate is produced until the mushroom mycelium (spawn) has fully developed. It is then transported to mushroom farms, where the mushrooms are grown. Because of the raw materials used, odors may occasionally be present.

Your responsibilities:

• Assisting with emptying the production tunnels (partly by machine and partly manually).
• Cleaning large production tunnels using a high-pressure cleaner.
• Assisting with filling the tunnels.
• Helping determine the correct amount of mushroom spawn to be added.
• Cleaning conveyor belts at height (no fear of heights required).
• Actively participating in the production process of mushroom substrate.
• Ensuring a clean, safe and efficient production environment.

Profil

• You have previous experience as an industrial cleaner or in a production environment.
• You are physically fit and don't mind working in an environment where odors may be present.
• You are willing to work in a two-shift system.
• You think proactively and contribute to both the cleaning and production processes.
• You enjoy working in a team but can also work independently.

• A full-time position in a growing and stable Information.
• Work in a two-shift system.
• A starting salary of €17.50/hour, supplemented with meal vouchers.
• The opportunity for a permanent contract after a successful interim period.
