For one of its manufacturing facilities based in the region of Ghent, we are currently looking for a HR Manager.Job Description
As HR Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring, coordinating, and executing various activities within the different domains of HR for the plant. You will closely collaborate with the Plant Director and report to the VP People & Culture.
Key Responsibilities- You drive the people strategy creation together with the business and based on the business strategy, translate the people strategy into action plans.
- Advise management and their teams on implementing HR policies, procedures, strategies, programs, initiatives, systems, tools and other resources.
- Activities include HR consulting and coaching, enabling business change, communicating business value of HR initiatives, implementing corporate policy within the assigned organizations and functions.
- You are in charge of the full spectrum of HR operations together with your team members and act as a strategic business partner orchestrating a seamless journey when it comes to talent management, recruitment and selection, compensation & benefits, payroll and personnel administration, on/off boarding activities and keep your finger on the pulse of industry trends to ensure the company remains competitive.
- You forge strong alliances with staff delegation and union representatives, fostering open dialogue and collaboration to cultivate a harmonious work environment.
- You lead the change in transformative HR projects, leveraging data insights to enhance processes and elevate the employee experience.
- Harness the power of communication and culture to cultivate a workplace where every voice is heard and every contribution valued, fostering a positive environment that fuels employee motivation and organizational evolution.
The Successful Applicant
- You have a Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant field or equivalent by experience
- You can demonstrate more than 6 years of experience in leading HR role including soft & hard HR responsibilities in a production/industrial environment
- In-depth knowledge of labor and social law, with a passion for developing new cases.
- You have a proven experience in social relations and know how to build and maintain constructive relationships with staff delegation / trade unions.
- Your are fluent in Dutch and English
- Strong organizational skills and a hands-on mindset
- Discreet and trustworthy with excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude.
