Pharmaceutical and Material Sciences is a department of Small Molecule Pharmaceutical Development (SMPD) within Discovery, Product Development and Supply (DPDS). Within the department resides the Solid State Sciences and Characterization group. The department is responsible for:

 Solid state screening, investigation and form selection for Drug Substance

 Solid State characterization of Drug Substance, Raw Materials, Intermediates and Drug Product

 Contribution to the definition of the Drug Product trajectory Our Solid State Sciences and Characterization team collaborates in project teams of multiple therapeutic areas such as oncology, neuroscience and immunology and this way contributes to the delivery of Drug Substance and Drug Product with controlled and consistent solid state properties.

The small molecule portfolio within Janssen Pharmaceutica N.V. includes traditional small molecules, offering multiple routes of administration, such as oral, injectable, inhaled, ocular and topical.

To further support our pipeline we are looking for a highly motivated Associate Scientist for this laboratory-based position with demonstrated expertise in this field.

You are available at short notice. The assignment is for 1 year, however extension is an option.
