About the Mission

A growing company in the construction wholesale and building materials sector is looking for a freelance Data Analyst to support a high-priority business intelligence mission in Antwerp.

The company operates in a fast-moving B2B environment where purchasing trends, stock flow, supplier performance, and customer demand directly impact profitability. They are seeking someone who can turn operational data into clear commercial insight — quickly and effectively.

This is a hands-on mission focused on real business impact, not endless reporting.

Your Mission

Over a focused 3-day on-site engagement, you will work directly with management and operational teams to uncover data-driven opportunities across sales, logistics, procurement, and customer performance.

You will be expected to:

• Analyze sales and operational datasets
• Identify inefficiencies and performance gaps
• Build actionable commercial insights from raw data
• Evaluate stock movement and purchasing trends
• Detect opportunities for margin optimization
• Translate complex findings into practical business recommendations
• Support decision-making through clear reporting and dashboard logic

• Customer segmentation and buying behaviour

Ideal Freelancer Profile

Required Skills

• Strong experience in data analysis or business intelligence
• Advanced Excel and data visualization skills
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar tools
• Ability to interpret commercial and operational data
• Strong communication and stakeholder-facing skills
• Able to work independently and deliver quickly
