Our client is an innovative and fast-growing company looking to strengthen its Finance team with a Freelance Business Controller.
As a Freelance Business Controller your responsibilities are:
- Support the monthly closing process and ensure data accuracy ;
- Partner with operational teams on budgets, forecasts, and financial performance ;
- Challenge business assumptions and provide financial insights ;
- Prepare, validate, and upload budget data into financial systems ;
- Review and approve Purchase Orders (POs) ;
- Perform financial analyses and management reporting ;
- Identify and implement process improvements across Finance ;
- Contribute to the development of reporting tools and dashboards on Power BI
Profil
A successful Freelance Business Controller should have:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Business Controller or FP&A Analyst ;
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and month-end closing ;
- Comfortable combining financial analysis with administrative finance tasks ;
- Advanced Excel skills; Power BI experience is a strong asset ;
- Analytical, autonomous, curious, and solution-oriented ;
- Fluent in French; English & Dutch is a plus ;
