As a Key Account Manager in Oevel, you are part of the commercial organization within DSV Contract Logistics.
You build and grow long-term customer relationships in warehousing and contract logistics, combining a strong customer focus with commercial skills.
Your focus goes beyond day-to-day operations: you engage senior stakeholders in strategic discussions and translate customer ambitions into opportunities for growth. You connect your Customer with our Warehouse, Customer Service and Transport teams to deliver high-quality logistics solutions.
You help align customer requirements, commercial opportunities and operational teams as the project develops.

Tasks:

• You understand your customers’ strategy and challenges, engage senior stakeholders in high-level discussions and translate long-term priorities into clear account plans;
• You grow existing accounts by identifying additional warehousing and contract logistics services that create customer value, and support the related projects;
• You are the first point of escalation for your customer for issues in the operations DSV manages for them;
• You ensure your are top of mind of your customer when they need additional logistics services
• You ensure timely and correct reporting, KPI follow up and invoicing;
• You have experience and interest in warehouse operations, transportation, customer service, customs and all other aspects of the logistics flows for your customer;
• You monitor the Customer Satisfaction Survey, supervise and complete corresponding action plans together with the internal and external stakeholders;
• You are closely connected to the both your customer and the DSV warehouse operations team and are frequently present in your customer’s offices (if applicable) and the DSV warehouse and customer service office
• You are also closely connected to the other DSV divisions (Road, Air & Sea) if they perform services to your clients or to other carriers or partners of your customer to ensure smooth collaboration;
• You are present in all monthly business reviews, you co-organize quarterly business reviews and you organize annual business reviews with your customer.

You bring

• You bring at least 5-10 years of Key Account Management experience in a third-party logistics (3PL) environment, with a focus on warehousing and contract logistics;
• You combine a strong customer focus with commercial skills: you nurture existing relationships, identify growth opportunities and communicate confidently with senior stakeholders;
• You are a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, able to turn customer data and operational insights into long-term improvements and commercial opportunities;
• You are stress-resistant and can work independently;
• You have an open and creative mind, and a continuous improvement mentality.
• You can easily adapt to changing circumstances and have a great sense of responsibility
• You express yourself fluently in English and Dutch. Other languages can be a nice plus.
