Are you a visionary Network Architect with a passion for designing complex network infrastructures? Do you have experience in developing strategic networks that meet the highest standards of security and performance? If so, we are looking for you!

As a Network Architect at spotit, you will be involved in exciting projects where you will contribute at a high level to finding the most optimal network and/or security solutions. You will design, implement, and manage our network solutions, working closely with internal teams to ensure that our networks meet current needs and are prepared for tomorrow's challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop network architectures that meet business objectives and security standards.
• Implement innovative network solutions and technologies.
• Manage and optimize existing network infrastructures.
• Advise internal teams and clients on network strategies and best practices. You will contribute your knowledge to the bigger picture and regularly provide training sessions and/or presentations to clients on your area of expertise.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and trends in network technology.

A day in the life of a Network Architect at spotit

Your day begins with a cup of coffee and a focus on designing and developing network architectures that align with business goals and security standards. You review project plans, dive into design specs, and collaborate with your team to ensure the networks we build are innovative and future-proof.

Afterwards, you’ll spend time optimizing existing network infrastructures, implementing the latest technologies to enhance performance, and discussing strategies with internal teams or clients. 

After noon, troubleshooting takes center stage as you handle any complex network issues that arise, using your expertise to swiftly identify and resolve problems. It’s a dynamic part of the day where your problem-solving skills truly shine. 

Before you wrap up, you take some time to review the latest industry developments, ensuring you're always up-to-date with new technologies.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an IT-related field. Equivalent experience is equally valuable.
• Proven experience as a Network Architect or in a similar role, with at least 5 years of experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, standards, and technologies (Cisco, Palo Alto, SIEM, etc.).
• Certifications such as CISSP, CCDA/CCDP are a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Dutch. Knowledge of French is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
