Requirements:

• Proven experience with Azure Data components including Azure Data Factory, Fabric, Synapse, and Analysis Services
• Strong proficiency in the Microsoft BI suite, specifically SSIS, SSAS, and SQL Server
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and Spark notebooks
• Expertise in Data modelling techniques such as Star Schema and Data Vault
• Advanced knowledge of Structured Query Language (T-SQL)
• Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting
• Experience in developing visualisations with Power BI
• Knowledge of Azure Data Lake and Azure Blob Storage
• (Desirable) Experience with Delta Lake
• (Desirable) Familiarity with SSRS
• Language(s): Dutch and English (fluent)

Job description:

• Define and implement solutions for data collection, storage, transformation, and dissemination on the Microsoft platform
• Develop and optimise SQL queries, Python scripts, Spark notebooks, and ETL/ELT processes to ensure data quality, reliability, and performance
• Design, develop, and deploy BI solutions using SQL Server Integration Services and SQL Server Analysis Services
• Design data models, including relational, star schema, and data xbpgvfh vault architectures, in collaboration with the Data Architect
• Collaborate with data analysts and business users to understand requirements, use cases, and technical specifications
• Contribute to the design and documentation of data architectures, models, and data flows
• Ensure compliance with best practices, security standards, and data confidentiality protocols
• Manage the maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of data solutions
