Then we would love to get to know you. For our new base in Brussels, we are looking for experienced Boeing 737NG Captains. As of this year, Transavia is expanding with a new home base in Brussels, alongside Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Eindhoven. As a Captain, you will be part of the team building this base from day one. You will operate the Boeing 737NG and, in the coming years, we will transition to the Airbus A321neo. Of course, you will receive full conversion training for the A321neo. What Are Your Duties? During the start-up phase of our Brussels base, you will work with a team of approximately 60 pilots — a close-knit and professional group, carefully selected based on experience, responsibility and a hands-on mentality. As a Captain, you are responsible for the safety and efficiency of our challenging flight operations. Together with your crew, you ensure a safe and smooth operation while creating a professional and pleasant atmosphere on board. You combine technical expertise with a pragmatic mindset and naturally inspire colleagues through your approach and way of working. You will operate a wide range of European destinations, from sunny islands to busy metropolitan airports. The Best Reasons and Conditions at a Glance Starting salary: €11.220,- gross per month. In addition, you will receive a monthly extra allowance of €39 gross per block hour (this can amount to more than 100 hours per month). You are a Captain who fulfils our minimum selection criteria: Valid EASA ATPL Valid ME/IR (A) PBN Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate MCC certificate Advanced UPRT Certificate (if licence is issued after 20-12-2021) Minimum ICAO ELP 5 to apply; please note that ELP 6 is required prior to the start of your employment with Transavia Furthermore, you meet the following criteria: You have a valid type rating Boeing 737NG with a minimum of 1,000 (actual) hours as Captain on type (of which 50 hours are flown in the last 6 months) To safely participate in the wet drill, you must be able to swim one full pool length unaided You have a grand total of 3,500 hours About Transavia Since 1965, we've made flying accessible for everyone. Requirements
