(Medior) Business Process Analyst Consultant

You know how inadequate process modeling and poor cross-border process harmonization can impact the reliability and efficiency of critical energy infrastructure.

Without rigorous business process analysis aligned with BPMN 2.0 standards and synchronized across entities, digital transformation initiatives fail to deliver the operational improvements required to support the energy transition, the integration of renewable energy sources, and the nuclear phase-out.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As one of our Project Partners, your objective is to map current business processes, drive process improvements in collaboration with stakeholders, and support the digital transformation of the organization's operations.

Key responsibilities might include:

• Modeling business processes and guiding business stakeholders in redesigning their processes.
• Challenging the business regarding their needs and the to-be processes.
• Aligning and validating as-is & to-be processes to ensure buy-in from the business.
• Harmonizing business processes across the different departments and with a German subsidiary.
• Contributing to the development of the methodology for modeling processes.
• Supporting the business in using new processes during post-implementation.
• Playing an active role in change management, including developing training materials and delivering training to end users according to the existing change management methodology.

Profile:

• Master in a technical or economic direction or equivalent through experience.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience as a process analyst with needs identification and as-is & to-be business process development.
• Strong knowledge of English (reading, writing). Very good knowledge of Dutch or French (speaking, reading, writing), good knowledge of the second national language (speaking, reading, writing) is also required.
• Strong analytical skills and a critical mindset. You dare to challenge stakeholders.
• Good communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team. You are able to develop consensus and convince various stakeholders.
• Sufficient customer orientation and flexibility.
• Good knowledge of BPMN 2.0 and UML.
• Experience with EA (Enterprise Architect), Jira & DevOps tools is a plus.
• Experience within the electricity sector is an added value.
• An entrepreneurial experience or ambition is a plus (extra-professional or extra-academic as well).
• Fast availability is preferred.
• Location: Schaerbeek (Brussels).
• Work regime: Full-time with physical presence required on site 2 days per week.
