To strengthen employee engagement across our restaurants, we are looking for a passionate and creative intern to join our People Experience team and support two exciting initiatives:

• 🚀 McD Connect, our employee engagement internal platform
• 🌟 The Brand Ambassador Program, our community of employee advocates across Belgium

If you're interested in HR, communications, employer branding, community management and employee experience, this internship is for you. As a People Experience & Employee Engagement Intern, you will help create engaging experiences that inform, connect and inspire restaurant employees across Belgium. You will support the day-to-day management of McD Connect and contribute to the growth of our Brand Ambassador community while also working on broader People Engagement initiatives.Your Menu 📱 Internal Communication & Employee Engagement

• Create, schedule and publish engaging content for employees across internal communication channels.
• Support the development of communication campaigns that increase awareness, participation and engagement.
• Help bring company culture, people initiatives and employee stories to life through creative storytelling.
• Monitor employee interactions, feedback and trends to help strengthen engagement.
• Support the onboarding and adoption of new users on internal communication platforms.
• Help manage community engagement activities and employee communication moments throughout the year.

🌟 Social Media & Brand Ambassador Program

• Support the recruitment, onboarding and engagement of employee Brand Ambassadors across Belgium.
• Coordinate ambassador activations, challenges, campaigns and recognition initiatives.
• Monitor ambassador participation and support the growth of the community.
• Collect employee-generated content and success stories from restaurants.
• Support the creation of social media content showcasing employee experiences and company culture.
• Track social media activity and help identify opportunities to increase visibility and engagement.

📊 Analytics & Insights

• Monitor engagement KPIs across communication channels and employee engagement initiatives.
• Analyze content performance, participation trends and community engagement.
• Transform data into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Support the preparation of reports, dashboards and presentations for leadership teams.
• Gather employee feedback and market best practices to continuously improve employee experience initiatives.

🚀 Project & People Experience Support

• Support the design and deployment of People Experience, Employee Engagement and Employer Branding initiatives.
• Coordinate projects across HR, Marketing and Communications teams.
• Assist with campaign planning, project follow-up and stakeholder coordination.
• Support the organization of events, activations and employee experience initiatives.
• Contribute to special projects aimed at enhancing company culture, employee engagement and employer reputation.

About you We're looking for someone who is:

• Currently studying Human Resources, Communication, Marketing, or a related field.
• Passionate about employee engagement and company culture.
• Creative and comfortable creating content for digital platforms.
• Organized, proactive and eager to learn.
• Curious about employer branding and community management.
• Comfortable working with Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools.

Language Skills

• Fluent in French and/or Dutch.
• Good working knowledge of English.

Nice to have

• Experience with social media or content creation.
• Canva, or similar tools.
• Interest in analytics and reporting.
