Test Package Manager

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Test Package Manager  to join a well-established Pharmaceutical business and provide planning, preparation, execution, and closeout of piping test packs for pharmaceutical projects ensures that all piping systems are tested, documented, and handed over in compliance with regulatory requirements, project specifications, and quality standards such as GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice)

Our client is looking for a Test Package Manager to play a key role in system turnover, working closely with construction, QA/QC, and commissioning teams.

Key responsibilities for this Test Package Manager role :

Test Pack Preparation

• Develop and compile piping test packs in line with P&IDs, isometrics, and line lists
• Define system boundaries and ensure correct scope inclusion
• Ensure all documentation (weld logs, material traceability, inspection records) is complete

Coordination & Execution

• Coordinate with construction teams to ensure systems are ready for testing
• Plan and schedule pressure tests, flushing, cleaning, and drying activities
• Supervise or oversee execution of hydrostatic/pneumatic tests

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure all activities comply with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and project QA/QC requirements
• Interface with QA/QC to ensure inspections and sign-offs are completed
• Maintain audit-ready documentation for regulatory inspections

Documentation & Turnover

• Support the Turnover Manager with completion dossiers and test pack turnover to commissioning
• Track test pack status and generate progress reports
• Ensure redline markups and as-built documentation are completed

Stakeholder Management

• Liaise with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams
• Act as the focal point for all test pack-related queries
• Support client inspections and walkthroughs

Experience required for this Test Package Manager role :

• Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 5–10+ years of experience in piping systems within pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences projects
• Strong knowledge of piping codes (e.g., ASME B31.3) and testing requirements
• Experience with clean utilities (WFI, clean steam, process gases) preferred
• Familiarity with turnover systems and tools (e.g.,PIMS, EIDA, BIM 360 software)
• Experience in sterile or aseptic pharmaceutical environments
• Exposure to commissioning and qualification phases (IQ/OQ support)
• Familiarity with digital turnover and punch list management systems

Package offered for this Test Package Manager role :

• Engaged on a contract basis through our Employee of Record business’ in Belgium
• Hourly rate to be agreed at point of engagement
• 6-12 month contract
