Technical Lead (Deputy) for IBM Planning Analytics & Cognos Analytics
Eurofins
Eurofins seeks a senior technical professional to lead quality assurance and testing for IBM Planning Analytics and Cognos Analytics systems, while providing technical guidance to the architecture team. The role combines QA leadership with technical design input, supporting financial planning and reporting operations in Brussels on a hybrid basis.
Responsibilities
- Lead QA and testing strategy for Cognos environment, including UAT and test automation
- Establish and enhance testing standards and processes across the development team
- Take ownership of technical quality for releases and serve as escalation point
- Contribute to technical design decisions and provide backup to Architect and Technical Manager
- Mentor junior developers and coordinate with business sponsors and support teams
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) and Cognos Analytics
- Solid QA and testing background including UAT, regression testing, and test automation
- Experience with Cognos Controller and financial systems or consolidation environments
- Understanding of application architecture, data integrations, and STLC
- Previous technical lead, solution architect, or similar senior role experience
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, especially with business stakeholders
- Fluent English and ability to work hybrid from Brussels office
