Are you a Full Stack Developer with a passion for geospatial technology and mission-critical systems? Do you enjoy working on innovative solutions within aerospace, defence, and nautical domains? Then CGI is looking for you.

Your role in our team
As a GIS Full Stack Developer, you will work on complex geospatial applications and platforms for clients operating in critical environments. You will develop scalable and reliable solutions where real-time data, map visualizations, and integrations play a central role.

You will be involved throughout the full software development lifecycle — from design and architecture to implementation and optimization. You will collaborate closely with architects, GIS specialists, DevOps engineers, and end users.

Your responsibilities include:
• developing modern front-end applications using Angular and/or React
• building back-end services with Java and Spring Boot
• designing and implementing REST APIs and microservices
• working with geo-standards such as OGC services (WFS, WMS/WMTS)
• processing and publishing geospatial data formats such as GeoJSON, GML, and GeoTIFF
• developing solutions using messaging and streaming technologies such as RabbitMQ and Kafka
• integrating geospatial platforms and databases such as PostGIS, GeoServer, and ESRI ArcGIS
• creating high-performance mapping and visualization solutions using Hexagon Luciad technologies (LuciadFusion, LuciadRIA)
• contributing to technical architecture, performance optimization, and innovation within the GIS domain

How you strengthen our team
You are technically strong, analytical, and enjoy solving complex challenges in a multidisciplinary environment. You thrive in dynamic environments where reliability, scalability, and performance are essential.

In addition, you have:
• a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Geo-information, or a related field
• experience as a Full Stack Developer within geo or GIS environments
• knowledge of Angular and/or React
• experience with Java and Spring Boot
• experience with REST APIs, SQL, OpenAPI, and microservices
• knowledge of messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ or Kafka
• experience with geo-standards and coordinate systems
• experience with tools such as Hexagon LuciadFusion / LuciadRI, QGIS, PostGIS, GeoServer, ESRI ArcGIS
• affinity with or experience in aerospace, defence, or nautical domains
