Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated Business Process Engineer to join our team. Working in the E-commerce Operations department, you will help manage and lead functional transformation projects, optimize internal tools, automate processes, and support change management initiatives. 

Key responsibilities and deliverables

#1 Process Diagnosis & Shadowing : Observe front-line operations, audit workflow friction, and identify repetitive tasks with functional leads and local super users

• Deliverables: Process drawings
• Main KPIs: # shadowing sessions

#2 Operational Data Analysis : Deep dive performance and operational data to understand processes, operations, and quantify friction

• Deliverables: Deepdive report, Project Impact Report, Dashboard
• Main KPIs: # quantitative data analysis reports created

#3 Functional Scoping & Spec Writing : Translate operational bottlenecks into technical requirements and co-design functional specifications with super users

• Deliverables: Detailed functional specification
• Main KPIs: Specs approval rate, % projects requiring mid-build functional spec change

#4 Low-Code Application Building : Design, configure, and build production-grade back-office applications to replace manual operational tasks

• Deliverables: Deployed Back-Office Application on Retool
• Main KPIs: Weekly Active Users (adoption rate)

#5 Workflow & AI Automation Scripting : Script automated workflows, using triggers and API connectors, to eliminate administrative friction

• Deliverables: Automated Workflow, Systems Sync, AI Agents prompts
• Main KPIs: # automations built, Time saved through automation

#6 Functional Animation of Tech Teams : Write detailed project specifications with tech and data teams, co-create solutions, and animate sprint delivery with product

• Deliverables: Detailed functional specification, Feature testing
• Main KPIs: # Features coordinated

#7 Change Management : Author end-user documentation, deliver training, run communications, and animate the local super user network

• Deliverables: Documentation, Training Sessions, Communications
• Main KPIs: Training rate, # support tickets

#8 Platform Governance & Admin : Administer user permissions, manage SaaS licensing, and configure tools settings

• Deliverables: Tool configuration, Provider renewal
• Main KPIs: % of active vs. unassigned paid SaaS licenses, % projects documented

#9 End-user Support : Assist end-users to solve short term bugs and operational frictions through ticket support and open hour animation

• Deliverables: Solved ticket, Unblock users, Identify process bottlenecks
• Main KPIs: # support tickets, # participants to open hours
