About the role:

As a BI Engineer, you will play a central role in delivering data-driven solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform. You will design and build dashboards, applications, and automated workflows that empower business teams to make better decisions, while helping to shape a robust, secure, and scalable Power Platform environment. Beyond hands-on development, you will also act as a trusted advisor to internal teams and citizen developers, ensuring that solutions are well-architected and aligned with business goals.

Your responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models that turn raw data into actionable insights
• Apply best practices in data modeling, DAX, and Power Query to ensure performant and maintainable solutions
• Design and build Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, and Power Automate flows tailored to business needs
• Translate functional requirements into scalable, user-friendly applications and automations
• Connect Power Platform solutions with MS 365, Azure, and third-party systems
• Help define and enforce governance, security, and compliance standards across the Power Platform
• Contribute to reusable components, templates, and architectural patterns that accelerate future development
• Provide coaching, training, and technical guidance to colleagues
• Collaborate with architecture, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver sustainable, well-designed solutions
• Troubleshoot, audit, and continuously improve existing Power BI and Power Platform deployments
• Contribute to the long-term roadmap and evolution of the Power Platform ecosystem

What you bring:

• Several years of hands-on experience building solutions with Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate
• Strong command of DAX, Power Query, and data modeling principles
• Familiarity with connectors and integration patterns across MS 365 and Azure xbpgvfh
• Working knowledge of governance, security, and compliance in Microsoft cloud environments
• Proven ability to design scalable, maintainable Power Platform solutions
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-up and ownership of your work
• Comfortable working autonomously and juggling multiple parallel initiatives
• Analytical mindset with a structured approach to problem-solving
• Languages: fluent in English, with strong working proficiency in French and/or Dutch
