Senior Site Activation Specialist - Belgium

IQVIA seeks a freelance senior site activation specialist based in Belgium to support clinical trial start-up and site management activities. The role involves EU-CTR compilation, regulatory submissions, document management, and site activation oversight across multiple investigative sites for approximately six months.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for assigned investigative sites
• Execute feasibility assessments, site identification, and activation activities per SOPs and regulations
• Prepare, review, and manage essential site and regulatory documents for completeness and accuracy
• Maintain tracking tools, timelines, and internal systems with accurate project data
• Monitor site activation progress and performance metrics, reporting findings to stakeholders

Requirements

• Based in Belgium with strong local regulatory environment knowledge
• 2–3+ years of site activation, study start-up, or clinical research experience
• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field
• Solid knowledge of clinical trial start-up processes and regulatory requirements
• Experience managing site documentation and submission processes
• Fluent in Dutch or French and English (written and spoken)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple sites and timelines
