Dealer Marketing Specialist - BYD

The Dealer Marketing Specialist Belux is a core member of the sales team and reports to the Commercial Director Belux, working in close daily cooperation with the marketing team. You are the link between central marketing, the regional sales team and the dealer network. Your mission is to make sure every dealer runs a marketing plan that is on brand, on budget and measurably driving showroom traffic, qualified leads and orders.

Key responsibilities

• Marketing planning: develop annual and quarterly marketing plans with each dealer, aligned with the national strategy for BYD and Denza.

• Budget: build and manage the annual dealer marketing and event budget, including co-op contributions, and report on return per activity type.

• Dealer plan management: coordinate the approval and validation of dealer marketing plans with the zone managers and the marketing department, keeping the process fast and transparent.

• Lead management and KPI follow up: monitor lead volume, source mix, response time, contact rate and conversion from lead to test drive to order. Distribute weekly and monthly reporting, benchmarked across the network, and agree action plans where performance lags.

• Google Business Profile and local visibility: own the quality and consistency of dealer listings, reviews, dealer website content and stock feeds, and follow the local digital KPI up to cost per lead.

• Brand management: roll out and safeguard BYD and Denza brand guidelines across showrooms, POS, digital screens and dealer communication, and approve local creative.

• Local event support: assist dealers in planning, organising and executing local sales events, launches and test drive campaigns, supported by ready to use toolkits.

• Data collection and analysis: track and analyse campaign and event data, monitor competitor activity in the EV and fleet segment, and translate findings into recommendations.

• On site support: visit dealers on a structured cycle, provide hands on guidance during activations, and act as their first point of contact for marketing.

• Activation: a consistent, well executed marketing calendar across the full Belux network that drives brand awareness and showroom traffic.

• Lead performance: measurable improvement in dealer response times and conversion rates, with reliable CRM data behind the numbers.

• Digital presence: every sales point complete, accurate and visible in local search.

• Budget efficiency: spend that shifts continuously toward the activities with proven return.

• Dealer empowerment: dealers and zone managers who receive timely updates, practical tools and clear advice, and who act on them.

Your profile

• Bachelor or Master in marketing, communication or business, with three to five years of relevant experience. Automotive, retail marketing or a dealer or franchise network environment is a strong advantage.

• Solid working knowledge of digital marketing: paid social, Google Ads, local SEO, Google Business Profile and web analytics.

• Comfortable with CRM logic and lead management, and confident building reporting in Excel or Power BI.

• Fluent in Dutch and French, with professional English as the corporate language.

• Driving licence B and genuine willingness to be on the road across Belgium and Luxembourg.

• Hands on, structured and analytical, with the diplomatic skill to hold partners accountable while keeping the relationship strong.
