Job Purpose
You will lead visual inspection activities at our Belgium manufacturing site. You will ensure products meet quality standards while keeping people safe and productive. You will coach and develop a small team, work with quality and engineering, and solve production issues quickly. Key Responsibilities
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
- Supervise daily visual inspection operations to meet quality, safety and delivery targets.
- Lead, coach and develop inspection operators to build capability and maintain high performance.
- Perform and own investigations of visual defects and non-conformances; drive timely corrective actions.
- Monitor inspection metrics and lead continuous improvement projects to reduce defects and increase yield.
- Ensure compliance with quality systems, documentation, training and change control requirements.
- Collaborate with quality control, engineering, production planning and maintenance to resolve issues and implement improvements.

Basic Qualification
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals

• Vocational diploma or bachelor’s degree in life sciences, engineering, manufacturing or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience supervising or leading a small team on the shop floor.
• Practical knowledge of quality systems such as deviations, CAPA and change control.
• Strong attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
• This role is on-site at our Belgium facility; shift work may be required including nights.

Preferred Qualification
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus

• Experience in pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on experience with visual inspection processes and defect classification.
• Training or practical experience in continuous improvement methods such as Lean or Six Sigma.
• Experience supporting audits or inspections and preparing responses.
• Good working knowledge of digital manufacturing tools or manufacturing execution systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively in French and English.
