Oracle E-Business Suite Financials Functional Support...

A multinational defence organisation runs its finances on Oracle E-Business Suite, and the team that keeps that engine running is looking for a seasoned EBS Financials specialist. You would sit inside its business applications centre as the Level-3 expert the service escalates to — and as the person who shapes what the platform does next.

What you will do

• Provide 2nd and 3rd line functional support across Oracle EBS Financials, within the agreed service levels.
• Own incidents, problems and service requests through to resolution, escalating to the vendor and following the fix all the way back.
• Gather, analyse, design and document new requirements and change requests.
• Produce functional and technical designs, system specifications and realistic effort estimates.
• Run full lifecycle testing on every change before it reaches user acceptance.
• Build out the knowledge base and coach users on Oracle EBS good practice.

What you bring

• Ten years or more as a functional expert on Oracle EBS Financials 12.2.x.
• Real depth across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Sub-Ledger Accounting and Fixed Assets, with Purchasing alongside.
• Budget, encumbrance and accrual accounting, and public-sector accounting experience.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and a genuine service instinct — you are the escalation point, so how you explain the fix matters as much as the fix.
• Fluent professional English in a multinational team.
