Vol-au-vent, tomato soup with meatballs, or a perfectly cooked roast beef: you’ll be licking your fingers and thumbs. And in this role, you’ll make sure others can do the same. In our kitchen, we create dishes that would make grandmothers jealous—but on an industrial scale, in large quantities.

We’re looking for a Cook for a food company in Aalter!

Hygiene is crucial for a kitchen staff member. That’s why you’ll ensure every day that your work methods and the final products meet all standards.

You’ll also follow safety regulations to the letter. You’ll do everything in your power to guarantee both quality and safety.

Who are you?

• You have experience as a cook in a commercial or industrial kitchen. Do you also have experience in a production environment? If so, that’s a plus.
• You are able and willing to work in a rotating two-shift system.
• The early shift starts at 4:30 a.m. and runs until 12:30 p.m.
• The late shift starts at 12:45 p.m. and runs until 8:00 p.m.
• You know how to operate machinery or are willing to undergo training for this.
• Physical work doesn’t deter you, and you’re hands-on.
• You work with great precision and are flexible and able to handle stress.
• You’re a good communicator, enjoy variety, and like working in a team.
• You speak Dutch or English well.
