Job Description

Join our Data & AI team.

You will become part of a multidisciplinary team where data engineering, architecture, AI, analytics, governance and visualization come together. Together, we help clients get more value out of their data: from setting up the right data foundations to building dashboards, analytics solutions and AI use cases that support better decisions.

As a Senior Power BI Consultant, you will contribute to this by turning complex data into clear insights, strong data models and reporting solutions that people can actually use.

You take a leading role in the delivery of our BI projects. You work end-to-end across the full reporting lifecycle, but you also take ownership of the solutions you design: from defining the data model and architecture to ensuring performance, governance and long-term maintainability. You help shape the structure and quality of the BI environment for our clients.

Beyond building dashboards, you actively coach and support colleagues in applying best practices in modeling, DAX, visualization and deployment. You act as a point of reference within the team and contribute to the development of our internal methodology, reusable assets and standards. You proactively collaborate with data engineers, architects and business stakeholders to create scalable, user-friendly and impactful reporting solutions.

Qualifications

We’re looking for a Senior Power BI Consultant who combines strong technical expertise with a consulting mindset. You are able to design high-quality BI solutions, challenge business requirements where needed, and guide colleagues towards best practices.

You’ll have knowledge and experience of the following: 

• You have 5+ years of BI experience , including 3+ years of hands-on Power BI ‑expertise .
• You can deliver end-to-end‑ Power BI solutions : modelling, DAX, transformations, visualization and deployment.
• You understand how to build scalable, performant models and apply best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• You collaborate confidently with business stakeholders and translate needs into clear KPIs and reporting logic .
• You take ownership of solution design and quality, and you enjoy coaching colleagues in best practices.
• You work confidently with Power BI Service; including workspace management, dataset governance, deployment, sharing, and Row-Level Security (RLS).
• You have experience with external Power BI tools such as Tabular Editor & DAX Studio.
• You communicate effectively with Data Engineers and understand modern data platform concepts. You can clearly translate business requirements into technical data needs, proactively identify potential data or modelling challenges and contribute to defining appropriate solutions.
• Experience with Azure, Databricks, Power Automate or Power Apps is a plus.
• Adding your dashboards or portfolio in the application is a plus.
• You are proficient in English and Dutch and/or French .
