At delaware, our Business Transformation practice helps companies transform beyond technology to enhance value. That’s what we call ‘Connected Transformation’. We work across industries, addressing various stakeholders' needs to improve business performance and develop world-class capabilities.

As a Consultant, you'll join our Finance Business Transformation team to optimize finance functions, identify the right technology, and support implementation. This fast-growing field offers many opportunities to showcase your skills and grow.

We have offices in Antwerp, Ghent, Kortrijk, Lummen, Liège, and Wavre, but often work on-site with clients. At delaware Belgium, we foster innovation and continuous improvement, offering a dynamic work environment, competitive compensation, and ample opportunities for professional growth.

What you can expect

• Support fit-to-standard workshops between the client's current finance processes and the target system, and help turn workshop input into structured documentation and actionable next steps
• Prepare and maintain project artifacts such as process maps, requirement logs, and status trackers, so the team always knows where things stand
• Assist with functional testing and support user acceptance testing, including writing test scripts and logging issues
• Help draft training materials and support end users during go-live
• Use AI tools such as Copilot and Claude to work faster, more efficiently, and produce more polished, consistent documentation, meeting outputs, first drafts of deliverables, progress reports, etc.

• Are a student who’s in their final year or a young professional with one or two years of experience
• Have a structured, organized way of working and are willing to build hands-on project experience within large-scale transformation projects
• Have an interest in exploring how business and IT come together, and enjoy learning how organizations rethink their (finance) processes when implementing new systems, such as SAP and Microsoft Dynamics
• Have the right business & finance processes knowledge and are willing to expand that knowledge on a more business-focused rather than technological level
• Have an instinct for consultancy: you have the communication skills to keep people aligned and a Project/ Team moving forward
• Have hands-on experience with AI tools such as Copilot or Claude, or are keen to pick that up quickly
• Speak English fluently, preferably in combination with Dutch and/or French.
• Have a driver’s license, to get wherever you need to be
• Are eager to learn and motivated to take on new challenges
