Our client, a leading global specialty chemicals and ingredients distributor offers an exciting opportunity for a Taste Account Manager within their strong Food & Nutrition division. Role Responsibilities

• Manage and grow your customer portfolio in the Benelux taste and food industry, translating market and consumer trends into tailored flavour and ingredient solutions that support the company’s strategic growth in Food & Nutrition.
• Build and steer a strong project pipeline from first idea to commercial launch, working closely with Product Managers, Application Technologists, and international suppliers to deliver high‑value, innovation‑driven concepts to your clients.
• Act as a strategic partner for customers by identifying new business opportunities, challenging briefs with your technical and market knowledge, and ensuring sustainable, profitable growth in line with the company’s long‑term mission.

Requirements

• Preferably a relevant academic background: a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, Food Technology, Nutritional Sciences, Bioengineering, or a related field, enabling you to engage credibly with R&D and technical stakeholders and add real value in customer discussions.
• Proven commercial and sector experience: 2-3 years in B2B sales, account management, business development, food ingredients, flavours, food technology or related areas (ideally with clients in food, ingredients, flavours, or FMCG), giving you the platform to quickly build trust and drive growth.
• Strong commercial and communication skills: solid technical understanding of flavours and food applications, proficiency with CRM tools (preferably Salesforce), fluent Dutch and English with good professional French, plus the drive to spot opportunities, manage multiple projects, and build long‑term partnerships through excellent negotiation and presentation.
