Our Indirect Tax Professionals work with clients that trade goods or services nationally and internationally. You will be given the opportunity to advise on the aspects of VAT, certain green taxes (e.g. (plastic) packaging taxes and extended producer responsibility) and local & regional (e.g. immovable withholding tax due on buildinng and industrial equipment, display taxes, taxes on establishments) taxes.

We are looking for Junior Indirect Tax Consultants who will focus on VAT as well as certain green and local/regional taxes and the compliance thereof for our offices in Diegem, Ghent & Antwerp .

Your Key Responsibilities

You will:

• Coordinate complex compliance projects of the aforementioned indirect taxes for multinnational companies and liaise with EY international teams regarding client's global indirect tax compliance requirements;
• Talk directly with clients and developing both your client relationship and technical skills in the field of the aforementioned indirect taxes.
• Be part of a globally integrated organization which offers you the opportunity to build strong relations with colleagues worldwide.
• Leverage technology and AI-enabled tools to support research, analyze data, increase efficiency, and deliver innovative solutions to clients.

Your Profile

• You will obtain a Master degree in (preferably Tax) Law / Applied Economics / Commercial Science or a Postgraduate in Tax;
• You are interested in indirect taxes, such as VAT, environmental taxes, local/regional taxes, etc.
• You are tech-savvy and are eager to embrace/explore modern technologies and AI to work efficiently with digital tools/systems and improve workings in your daily job.
• You have good verbal and written skills in these languages: Dutch/French and English.
• You are client and market focused with a hands-on attitude.
• You are curious, innovative and a good team player.
• You have a strong affinity with AI and genuine interest in applying new AI trends in a professional context.
• You have the ambition to become a certified ITAA Tax advisor.
• You are able to start in September 2027 .
