Please double check you have the right level of experience and qualifications by reading the full overview of this opportunity below.A world-leading biopharmaceutical manufacturer is opening its doors to a Data Scientist ready to shape how tomorrow's biologics get made. You'll sit inside a technical team responsible for bringing 20+ new medicines to life over the next few years, from antibodies to next-generation biologic formats.
This isn't a back-office analytics role. You'll work shoulder to shoulder with process experts in Cell Culture, Purification and Analytical teams, turning raw data into decisions that shape how real medicines are produced.
What the job looks like
- Design experiments and lead the statistical analysis behind process improvements, investigations and comparability studies
- Act as the go-to expert for data quality, making sure results are correct, traceable and delivered on time
- Help write technical reports that meet strict quality and regulatory standards
- Sit inside project teams as the trusted data voice, offering insight before anyone has to ask for it
What you bring (must haves)
- A degree in Data Science, Statistics or similar, combined with hands on experience in pharma: 6+ years with a Bachelor's, 4+ years with a Master's, or 2+ years with a PhD
- Confident written and spoken English, able to explain complex findings to both scientists and senior leaders
- A self-starter mindset, comfortable working independently in a fast-paced xlxgzvr setting
Where you can stand out (nice to haves)
- Experience in a regulated, GMP environment
- Background in biologics, upstream or downstream
- Strong statistical toolkit, and a genuine interest in applying it practically
- A track record of pushing projects forward, and pushing back with better ideas
- Dutch language skills
