Key Responsibilities of the Breakfast Chef:

• Supports the smooth running of the breakfast department, where all aspects of the guest dining experience throughout the whole Hotel are delivered to the highest level
• Oversee the breakfast shift, including a full buffet breakfast.
• Prepare and present food according to Brand Standard guidelines.
• Works proactively to improve guest satisfaction and comfort, interact with guests, ensuring excellent customer service and memorable dining experiences.
• Delivers on plans and objectives where kitchen initiatives & hotel targets are achieved
• Supervises the kitchen team fostering a culture of growth, development and performance within the department
• Maintain high standards of food preparation, presentation, and cooking techniques.
• Ensure strict stock rotation and aim for minimal wastage.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen areas in accordance with Health & Safety and HACCP standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen 
• Strong supervisory skills with a hands-on approach and lead-by-example work style 
• Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry 
• Ability to find creative solutions with proven problem-solving capabilities offering support where required 
• Commitment to hygiene, safety standards, and food handling regulations. 
• Personal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence, time and energy 
• Strong communication skills
