AP/AR Accountant: International Dimension M/V/X

Belgian subsidiary of an international industrial group, this Brussels-based company manages financial flows for several European entities from its Belgian headquarters. Around a hundred employees on site, counterparts spread across a dozen countries and a finance team that works in English on a daily basis, this is an environment where the international dimension is real.

Your Responsibilities

You join the accounting team and take charge of supplier and client flows in a multi-entity, multi-country environment.

• Processing and controlling purchase and sales invoices for several group entities.
• Monitoring payments, reconciling accounts and matching third-party accounts.
• Managing client follow-ups and coordinating with suppliers, in English and Dutch.
• Preparing VAT data and monitoring current regulatory obligations.
• Participating in monthly closings in support of the team.
• Regular liaison with finance teams across other countries in the group.

Jouw profiel

The Ideal Profile

Education : Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent.

Experience : At least 3 years of experience in accounts payable and/or general accounting. You are autonomous on day-to-day accounting tasks.

Technical skills : Good command of Excel. Knowledge of SAP is an asset.

Languages : Fluent Dutch and English are essential, these are the two main working languages on a daily basis.
