Role Overview

We are seeking a results-driven Independent Sales Representative (Commission-Based) to expand our market reach and drive B2B growth across project-driven and distribution channels.

In this role, you will represent ELM Romania by connecting directly with end-clients—such as industrial developers, office building operators, and general contractors—as well as building long-term partnerships with electrical distributors, wholesalers, and architectural/lighting design firms.

Key Responsibilities 

• Leverage Existing Network & Pipeline Building: Utilize your established industry connections to capture project opportunities across industrial, office, logistics, and commercial sectors—offering any lighting solution required, from entry-level cost-sensitive fixtures to complex, high-end autonomous systems.

• Consultative Selling: Identify specific client and project needs, presenting tailored or custom-engineered lighting packages when standard catalog products fail to meet exact budget or design requirements. 

• Distribution & Partner Channel Development: Establish and nurture long-term relationships with regional electrical distributors, wholesalers, general contractors, and architectural or lighting design consultancies.

• End-to-End Deal Management: Manage the entire sales cycle—from initial outreach, technical requirement gathering, and quotation presentation to commercial negotiations and final contract closing.

• Technical & Engineering Collaboration: Translate customer project specifications and technical constraints to our internal engineering team to quickly prototype, quote, and produce optimal tailored solutions.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven B2B Sales Track Record: Demonstrated success in B2B sales within the lighting industry, electrical equipment, building materials, or technical B2B project sales. 

• Active Industry Network: Existing relationships with key decision-makers, including general contractors, project managers, electrical distributors, wholesalers, or architects/designers.

• Technical & Lighting Knowledge: Solid understanding of technical lighting parameters, LED technologies, and basic smart/IoT control systems (e.g., DALI, Bluetooth controls, sensors). 

• Entrepreneurial Mindset & Autonomy: Strong self-motivation, independence, and a results-driven approach suitable for a commission-based, autonomous role.
