Over deze functie
Als Junior NOC Engineer speel jij een cruciale rol binnen het Network Operations Center.
Je ondersteunt de IT- en OT-omgevingen van een internationaal opererend energiebedrijf en werkt mee aan de stabiliteit, veiligheid en performantie van hun netwerkinfrastructuur.
Jouw verantwoordelijkheden :
- Je werkt mee aan de deployment & maintenance van IT- en OT-netwerksystemen
- Je analyseert en lost incidenten en technische problemen op
- Je ondersteunt collega’s in België én de rest van Europa
- Je bewaakt de kwaliteit en veiligheid van de netwerkarchitectuur en voert wijzigingen uit
- Je neemt actief deel aan projecten zoals nieuwe datacenterconnectiviteit, cloudbeveiliging en -connectiviteit, WAN-modernisatie en functionele uitbreidingen voor applicatieteams
- Je draait mee in een team dat 24/7 de operationele continuïteit ondersteunt
De eerste 2 maanden werk je fulltime op kantoor, nadien kan je 2 dagen per week van thuis werken.
Over jou
Je hebt een eerste werkervaring met netwerkbeheer en wil je hier verder in specialiseren.
Je werkt nauwkeurig, bent stressbestendig en weet problemen snel en gestructureerd op te lossen.
Technische vereisten:
- Kennis van routing & switching (CCNA-niveau)
- Ervaring met Cisco CLI
- Operationele kennis van firewalls (Palo Alto, Check Point)
- Ervaring met backend tools zoals monitoring, NAC, central syslog en authentication
- Gewerkt met Python
- OT-ervaring is een sterke plus
Je bent bereid om, indien vereist, werkzaamheden uit te voeren vanuit één van de lokale kantoren van de klant.
Vloeiend Nederlands en goede kennis van het Engels.
