Our client is an established international trading company active in the food industry, with a strong footprint across Europe. What started as an entrepreneurial initiative has grown into a well-structured organisation with short decision lines, a hands-on mentality and a strong focus on long-term partnerships. The company combines an informal culture with ambitious growth objectives.
- Manage and further develop an existing B2B customer portfolio
- Proactively identify and contact new prospects within the DACH region
- Maintain daily client contact via phone and email
- Understand customer needs and translate them into commercial opportunities
- Follow up on sales targets and report on performance
- Collaborate closely with internal teams such as purchasing and logistics
- Participate in international trade fairs and commercial events
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in sales or business
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a B2B sales or inside sales role
- Fluent German is essential
- Strong command of English ; knowledge of Dutch is a plus
- Strong commercial drive and a true "sales mindset"
- Confident communicator with negotiation skills
- Result-oriented, resilient and able to work autonomously
- Experience in the food or FMCG sector is considered an asset
- A varied inside sales role within an international environment
