CheckPoint is Deloitte's internal IT service desk and the face of IT for our employees. As the first point of contact for IT-related queries, the team provides a high-quality, customer-focused support experience through various service channels, including an online ticketing system, face-to-face assistance and phone support.


We would like to reinforce our CheckPoint team in Zaventem with a
Junior IT Service Desk Officer - Workplace Support

• You provide first-line technical support to internal customers, assisting them with hardware and software problems from our physical desk in Zaventem;
• You are passionate about customer service and enjoy being the face of IT. You take pride in creating a positive support experience for every user interaction, whether at the desk, by phone, or through the ticketing platform;
• You maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service management principles;
• You take ownership of user problems and are proactive when dealing with user issues;
• You accurately register, update and follow up tickets in the ITSM tool;
• You respond to inquiries from clients and help them resolve hardware and/or software problems;
• You support users in the use of IT equipment by providing necessary training and advice;
• You support onboarding and offboarding activities, including preparing IT equipment, assisting new joiners;
• You allocate more complex calls to the relevant IT Support member or group.

Let's talk about you

• You have at least 1 year of IT Service Desk experience;
• You are able to easily express yourself in English and Dutch;
• You have experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools such as ServiceNow or similar;
• You have a strong knowledge of the latest Microsoft-based operating systems;
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Teams, Intune and audio-video support is considered a plus.
• You have experience in configuring iOS devices;
• You have an interest in ITIL processes;
• You communicate clearly, listen actively and adapt your support style to users with different levels of technical knowledge;
• You get energized from providing face-to-face support;
• You have a flexible attitude and the ability to perform well under pressure;
• You are a team player and are committed to provide a qualitative support;
• This is a fully onsite role based in Zaventem, as face-to-face support is a key part of the IT Service Desk;
