Nexeo is looking for a Functional Analyst to support one of its clients in the banking sector, a leading financial institution continuously investing in digital transformation and customer-centric solutions.

You will join the Invest Tribe, contributing to the evolution of digital investment contracting journeys and helping deliver seamless, compliant, and efficient customer experiences within a highly regulated banking environment.
An international consultancy active in banking, finance, insurance, and public sectors
• You will join the Contracting Squad, a multidisciplinary Agile team composed of business and technical experts responsible for the digital contracting journey supporting investment products.
The squad focuses on delivering reliable, accessible, and compliant contracting solutions for both customers and internal stakeholders. Working within a complex banking ecosystem, you will play a key role in analyzing business needs, defining functional solutions, and ensuring successful implementation across multiple systems and channels.
The team operates in an Agile Scrum environment with 2-week sprints and a strong self-organizing mindset, collaborating closely with both onshore and offshore team members.
Gather, analyze, and challenge business requirements

• Translate business needs into clear user stories and functional specifications
• Produce and maintain functional analysis documentation
• Support process definition and alignment between business and IT stakeholders
• Identify impacts, dependencies, and risks across the investment contracting journey
• Contribute to release planning and implementation readiness activities
• Define test scenarios and support end-to-end validation activities
• Support change management and rollout activities

Java 8

• Spring Framework / Spring Boot
• Language Requirements
• Dutch: Native level or minimum C1 (mandatory)
• English: French: Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent experience

Strong experience as Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role

• Understanding of software development methodologies and application architecture
• Experience documenting functional requirements and business processes
• Ability to work with both business and technical stakeholders

Experience within the banking or financial services sector

• Experience in regulated environments with complex business rules
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
