Based in Antwerpen, ANT, BE, you'll be part of a dynamic team working on innovative technologies, including digitalizers that convert RF signals to digital signals, high-speed receivers, telecommand and telemetry base modems, and other advanced communication systems.

Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing FPGA subsystems in VHDL, conducting simulations and verification tests using tools such as Questa and ModelSim, integrating FPGA modules into larger architectures, and documenting your designs and test results.

Collaboration with a cross-disciplinary team of hardware, software, and system engineers is essential, as is troubleshooting and resolving FPGA-related issues.

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills: Master's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.

Strong programming skills in VHDL.

Solid knowledge of digital logic, timing constraints, and clock domains.

Experience with the Intel Quartus FPGA Design Suite.

Familiarity with digital communication systems and digital signal processing (DSP) is an advantage.

Understanding of Ethernet, high-speed interfaces, and SERDES is a plus.

Knowledge of embedded ARM processors or synthesized processors is an advantage.

Proficiency in technical documentation.
