Supervisor Modernisation Elevators - Flanders

For the modernization department, we are looking for a supervisor to strengthen our team in Flanders.

Your position

As a Supervisor Modernization elevators , you are responsible for the organisation, planning and follow-up of the modernisation  projects in Flanders. You will ensure that the projects run smoothly and that all deadlines, safety regulations and budgets are respected. In addition, you are an important link between customers, subcontractors and internal teams. 

Your tasks will include:

Leadership and coordination

• Managing and supporting your team consisting of technicians and subcontractors.
• Coordinating various modernization projects.
• Drafting and managing the project schedule, including respecting deadlines and objectives.

Communication and customer relations

• Informing customers about the planning, start date and progress of the works.
• Organizing deliveries and inspections in consultation with the customer as well as discussing any adjustments.
• Participate in project meetings with customers and subcontractors.

Project follow-up and administration

• Completing and managing the project file (inspection reports, HSE plans, AS-built files, permits, etc.).
• Checking invoicing and communication with the accounting department.
• Follow-up of budgets and reporting on the financial status of projects.
• Follow-up of material deliveries and communications with suppliers.

Safety and quality control

• Performing on-site safety inspections and audits (SIF visits).
• Organizing toolbox meetings and checking permits.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

Your profile

Education & experience

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent through experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position (experience in the elevator sector is a plus).

Language skills & technical skills

• Fluent knowledge of Dutch and English (French is an asset).
• Experience with MS Office and project management.
