We are currently expanding our expert network and looking for a Senior Privacy Consultant who brings more than just expertise. You are structured, certified, people-oriented, and commercially aware. You combine legal depth with the ability to lead, coach, advise, grow, and execute . You’re comfortable serving as DPO or Privacy Officer, managing key accounts, driving growth, and contributing to a culture of partnership and agility.

Your Role at JPF

• Privacy & Data Protection (GDPR, DPIA, ROPA, DPO-as-a-Service)

• Cybersecurity & Risk (ISO 27001/27002/27701, NIS2, DORA, BIO)

• AI & Emerging Tech Compliance

• Whistleblowing & Incident Management

• Legal Operations & General Compliance

• GDPR Toolkits, Awareness & Training

• BPO & Legal Staffing Solutions

You’ll help shape both client engagements and internal operations , with the freedom to lead — and the support to deliver.

Your Responsibilities

As a Senior Privacy Professional , you will:

• Serve as external DPO , Privacy Officer , or strategic privacy lead for clients

• Build and implement privacy frameworks that align with GDPR, ISO 27701, and sectoral regulations

• Conduct DPIAs, TIAs, audits, and gap assessments ; lead remediation and compliance roadmaps

• Draft and operationalise policies, ROPAs, incident procedures, vendor agreements , and internal guidance

• Lead or contribute to BPO offerings like DPO-as-a-Service or Policy Management-as-a-Service

• Manage key accounts and maintain trusted client relationships over time

• Identify opportunities to grow the relationship or cross-sell complementary services

• Collaborate with internal and freelance colleagues to deliver as one agile, multidisciplinary team

• Coach junior and medior consultants and ensure quality across the delivery pipeline

• Monitor EDPB guidance, regulatory trends, enforcement decisions , and translate them into action

You’re a senior consultant or independent advisor with:

• 7+ years of experience in data protection, privacy, and governance

• Proven experience as DPO , Privacy Officer , or senior compliance lead

• A structured, proactive approach and excellent documentation skills

• Strong stakeholder and account management capabilities

• A natural collaborator and team player with an entrepreneurial mindset

• Experience supporting or initiating business development and service expansion

✅ Certifications (at least one, preferably more):

• CIPP/E , CIPM , CDPO or similar

• ISO 27701 Lead Implementer or Auditor

• ISO 27001/27002 (implementation, audit, or risk management)

• BIO (Baseline Informatiebeveiliging Overheid – NL/BE public sector)

• 🗣 Dutch and/or French (fluent/native) + strong English
  🌍 Based in the EU or USA and able to work across time zones if needed
