Civil Site Manager

We are currently looking for a Civil Site Manager for one of our clients in Germany who are aglobal technology leader that is advancing a sustainable energy future for all.

About theRole:

As a Civil Site Manager you will be responsible for the successful execution of all activities at the assigned site. The position is based at various locations in Germany for at least 3 years and afterwards in Germany or another country where the clienthas projects. This position is fully onsite.

1. You drive the activities on the site to achieve contractual goals and act as the main point of contact for the customer in all contractual matters. You have the authority over subcontractors and our clientssite personnel and ensure that all site personnel are wellinformed about the Scope of Work (SoW) and Division of Work (DoW).
2. You manage change management on the site including change orders to subcontractors.
3. You ensure that all tests are conducted and accepted by the customer in accordance with contractual conditions. You promote a culture of understanding and compliance with health environmental and safety requirements of the company customer and local authorities by all site personnel.
4. You ensure that all activities are performed with the expected quality and that all quality records are created and properly archived.
5. You ensure that all activities are completed within the contractual schedules and milestones. You understand the project budget and ensure that site activity costs remain within the budget.
6. You ensure structured uptodate and reliable documentation onsite and that work is performed according to the latest approved processes instructions and guidelines.
7. You ensure that contractual obligations are met to the satisfaction of our customers.

Your Background:

1. We are looking for a committed structured wellorganized and goaloriented individual who is a true team player.
2. You have a Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
3. Recognized certifications and training in health environment and safety. IOSH or NEBOSH preferred.
4. You bring experience as a Site Manager in industrial construction projects with a high degree of complexity and responsibility. You can demonstrate successes failures and the lessons learned from them.
5. Experience with HVDC converter stations is desirable.
6. You understand construction contracts with typical terms and conditions.
7. You have experience with construction work installations and/or commissioning.
8. Willingness to work onsite.
9. You speak fluent German and English.
