Functional Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define test strategies with project team members while maintaining appropriate coverage within time and budget constraints.
• Execute structured software testing and report application quality and associated risks to management.
• Assess testing outcomes and provide release-readiness recommendations.
• Analyze requirements, specifications, and user stories to create logical and physical test cases.
• Adapt testing activities to changing project circumstances and develop solutions to testing challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Informatics, Mathematics, or a similar technical field.
• At least two years of experience in structured software testing.
• Fluency in Dutch and English and a good command of French.
• Strong analytical skills, flexibility, and a strong focus on quality.
• Experience designing creative solutions to overcome testing challenges is preferred.
• A proactive and solution-driven mindset is preferred.
