DSP Operations Quality Specialist

Job Description :
We are looking for a DSP Operations Quality Specialist based in Braine-l'Alleud to ensure quality excellence in downstream biological drug substance production. In this role, you will oversee quality assurance processes, drive continuous improvement, and support operational compliance directly on the shop floor within a commercial biomanufacturing facility.
This is a full-time position for an initial 3-month contract, with a strong possibility of extension .
The full job description covers all associated skills, previous experience, and any qualifications that applicants are expected to have.Key Responsibilities :
- Drive quality excellence on the shop floor through regular presence and active support of downstream manufacturing teams.
- Review and approve batch production records, deviations, corrective actions, and change controls to guarantee compliance.
- Support production teams during operational meetings by sharing quality insights and implementing continuous improvement actions.
- Train and coach site facilitators to enhance process knowledge and uphold high operational standards.
- Escalate operational quality issues to management in accordance with established Quality Management System (QMS) standards.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biotechnology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related scientific field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a regulated GMP manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated experience in Downstream Processing (DSP) biological drug substance operations (business and/or quality).
- Fluent in both French and English with strong communication skills for stakeholder management and training.
- Stress-resistant with mandatory on-site presence.
Offer & Benefits :
- Contract Type: full-time (3-month initial contract, possibility of extension)
- Employee: gross monthly salary between €4,000 and €4,200 (depending on experience) + extra-legal benefits including a company car.
- Freelance: daily rate between €600 and €650 (depending on experience). xlxgzvr
