Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Project Lead

Lead the implementation of a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) for Johnson & Johnson's Beerse manufacturing site. This role involves managing a phased digital transformation project that will convert batch information systems from paper-based to integrated digital workflows, requiring oversight of team execution, stakeholder coordination, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall MES project execution within scope, schedule, budget, and regulatory requirements
• Serve as primary contact among project team, sponsor, and steering committee
• Own project planning, resourcing, budget management, and adherence to timelines
• Drive change management and align organization with new business capabilities
• Collaborate with deployment excellence teams to ensure integration with manufacturing systems and SAP

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in science-based discipline; Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or Chemical Engineering preferred
• Minimum 10 years operations and project management experience in pharmaceuticals
• Knowledge of GMP regulations; GAMP and SDLC understanding preferred
• Fluency in English and Dutch (oral and written)
• Experience with automation and IT systems in regulated environments
• Strong cross-functional influence and stakeholder management abilities
• Quality, regulatory compliance, or pharmaceutical knowledge
